CALHOUN COMMUNITY COLLEGE DUAL ENROLLMENT UPDATE - EFFECTIVE SPRING 2025
The Calhoun Dual Enrollment program has revised the Dual Enrollment Continuous Eligibility policy effective beginning Spring 2025. Under the new policy, a Dual Enrollment student who fails to earn a grade of C or higher in a Dual Enrollment class, or who withdraws from a Dual Enrollment class, will be suspended from the program for one term. The student can appeal the suspension, in writing, to the Dual Enrollment Director. The appeal must be supported by the student’s counselor or school administrator. (This has not changed.)
The major change is that, once the appeal is approved, the student will continue to be eligible for Dual Enrollment scholarship funding. However, a Dual Enrollment student who withdraws or who earns a grade of D or F in a second Dual Enrollment class, following an appeal, will be suspended from the program with no eligibility for appeal, and will not be eligible for any future Dual Enrollment scholarship funding.
