SuperStar Hand Washer Program

Every year the Kindergarten class students participate in a fun hand washing program. Early winter I will visit each class and talk to them about germs, healthy habits and keeping their hands clean. We review proper hand washing techniques and discuss when we need to wash our hands. During the winter months, if the teacher reports to me that their class is doing a great job washing their hands their names will be put in for a raffle for a prize. Each Friday I will draw a name and that student will be the "SuperStar Hand Washer" for the week. The student's name will be displayed on my bulletin board & they win a small prize!!
