Hello Students and Families!
I am the English Learner and reading intervention teacher at Olive Grove. You can find me in the Learning Center. It is my 23rd year of teaching and I am excited for another year! I graduated in 1993 from Mills College with a bachelor's degree in Theater Arts and English Literature. I received my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential in 2001 from Antioch College and hold a Reading Specialist credential from UC San Diego. My teaching career began in Los Angeles, but I have been in the Dry Creek School District since 2007. I've taught every grade from K-5 and just LOVE teaching!
In addition to teaching, I enjoy traveling, reading, hiking, watching soccer, and just being outside. My family consists of my husband, Paul, and our two daughters, ages 18 and 20. We also have a very spoiled Boston Terrier named Ivy!
