About the Librarian:
I’m Ms. Byrd (she/her), your school librarian.
This is my fourth school year at DCI. Before becoming the librarian, I taught HS English for 4 years. I also run our MS Project Lit book club and help with our HS Project Lit book club. I also run an after school library club for middle schoolers on Tuesdays.
I'm here to help you find books you love, assist with research assignments and projects and can also help with writing.
I love reading realistic fiction, graphic novels and fantasy books. I also love building Lego with my kids, running and doing yoga in my free time.
