Dr. Ana Tomey, beloved professor of biology at Dodge City Community College, was found dead on the morning of February 29th, 2020 in a classroom on campus. We invited the help of several area high school students to investigate. They did a top notch job processing the crime scene, discovering the cause of death through a toxicology analysis, and determining the killer through DNA analysis.
Thank you to everyone who participated and volunteered to make this event a success. If you are a high school student in the Dodge City area who is interested in participating in another CSI Day or similar event OR in majoring in a STEM-related field, please contact the Science/Math Division at Dodge City Community College for more information.
