All PK3 and PK4 applicants need to apply through the My School DC lottery. As a citywide school, families can live anywhere in the District and attend Stevens ELC. Matched and returning families must complete an enrollment packet at enrolldcps.dc.gov.
5 DCPS general education PK3 and PK4 classrooms;
3 DCPS self-contained special education classrooms to serve early childhood students;
4 CentroNía infant and toddler classrooms serving 6 week –3 year-olds.
At Stevens ELC, the MSDC Priority Seat Preference for at-risk families is available to help build a diverse school community. The Priority Seat Preference applies to at-risk families that identify as homeless, in the District’s foster care system, receive Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) or the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) as measured after April 1, 2019. For the 2022-23 school year, families who missed the lottery application deadline can submit a post-lottery application beginning March 2, 2022. Families who applied through the lottery are able to add schools to their existing application the day lottery results are released – April 1, 2022 – by clicking on the “Add more schools” icon located in their My School DC family account.
