To act accordingly to people's opinions and perspectives, we conducted a survey, where we received this data.
In our survey, we asked where people lived so we could compare different places with quality and quantity.
Looking at this photo, it seems that many people come from either Tung Chung, Upper Cheung Sha or Discovery Bay.
We then asked how long it takes people to reach the location where they play their sport - then we would be able to see which neighbourhoods need more facilities.
It seems that many people take 5 - 10 mins, or under 1 min.
We asked if people are in any sporting teams or clubs and it looks like 50% of the people ARE in a team, while the other 50% are NOT.
Then we asked the original question - Do people have enough space to play sports?
By the looks of it, it is almost a tie.Â
18.8% of people say they DO have enough space, another 18.8% say it is pretty EVEN, and the last 18.8% say they don't ever have space.
We also asked how much people care about their access to sports.
It looks like 30% of people DO care, which makes this issue VERY important.
