Homework Guidelines

Math:

Daily math homework is essential to reinforcing concepts taught in class. Homework in math will consist of either assigned problems from the student workbook, a math review that was not finished in class, or a test review. Homework in the workbook will be checked each day and is counted into the quarterly homework grade. 

In addition to homework, time dedicated to math facts can help tremendously for struggling students. Our goal at ACADC is to gain automaticity for each operation. Mastering math facts allows for more thought processing to be focused on the main objective.

Science:

Science homework will be assigned on occasion and depends how well each student uses worktime in class. This homework could include in class worksheets, study guides, and project templates. There will be assigned projects throughout the year and students are expected to complete these outside of class time.
