Dear NJHS Parents and Members,
Thank you to everyone who participated in our first NJHS service project last Thursday! The JHL crew was extremely grateful for the breakfast, and I received numerous compliments and thank-yous from several crew members. Their supervisor also asked me to share his appreciation, saying, “It made everyone’s day" and "they've never been treated this well at other job sites".
In addition to serving the JHL team, our students were able to enjoy breakfast together and share leftovers with faculty and staff, a wonderful way to make a positive impact across our school community.
I was also so impressed by how eager our NJHS members were to serve others and do something kind. The positivity was truly infectious on Thursday. It was a wonderful reminder of the impact small acts of service can have on our community. I continue to be impressed by our members this year. It's truly a blessing to be serving as their advisor.
Please see the following message from our NJHS president regarding announcements for the upcoming week:
Good afternoon!
We will be meeting on Thursday during conference. During the meeting, I’d like us to discuss and possibly vote on our next service project.
Thank you all for helping me lead NJHS!
Kind regards,
Daniel Hunt
