WHAT I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO
Science isn’t just a subject, it’s a way to see the world in all its fascinating detail. Noticing this makes life richer and more vibrant when we pause to wonder at the perfectly ordered and astonishing world around us. Science is not only fascinating—it’s also incredibly applicable to our everyday lives, shaping how we live, work, and understand ourselves.
GET TO KNOW ME
My current favorite book is titled "Endure: Mind, Body, and the Curiously Elastic Limits of Human Performance" written by Alex Hutchinson. I especially enjoyed reading this book as it highlights the seemingly limitless capabilities of the human body while also outlining the extensive research and work that has been done to lay the groundwork for our current knowledge of the human body.
My favorite subject is anatomy and physiology. I am constantly amazed at the intricate and vast complexity of the human body. The more we learn about how the body works, the more we realize we don't know. I find this to be exciting and inspirational.
I greatly appreciate Ascent's focus on higher level thinking, community, and the pursuit of virtue in all things.
I enjoy the great outdoors whether through running, hiking, rock climbing, or biking. I also love to get competitive on the basketball court and enjoy the occasional boardgame with friends.
