Dear Staff,
ClickView's community of tens of thousands of teachers around Australia are banding together to contribute their own flipped or recorded lessons to the Exchange, to help each other overcome the challenge of remote teaching. Full details in our Flipped Classroom PDF.
These lessons are such a valuable resource for all schools during normal times, but now they are essential. You can be a part of this! If there are teachers at St Paul's Catholic College, Manly creating their own flipped content, please encourage them to share the content to the Exchange by emailing content@clickview.com.au, so all teachers and students who use ClickView can use them to assist in their learning from home.
To further assist, in the coming weeks we are opening up access to the Exchange to students. This will give millions of Australian school students access to thousands of educationally relevant feature films and TV documentaries that they can access safely and securely from home, protected by Australia's ratings system, and free of ads, pop ups and comments. If you would prefer for your students to not have access to the Exchange, please let us know: info@clickview.com.au.
Regards,
The ClickView Team

Teaching students to passively recall facts through lower order thinking activities is often frustrating for 21st century learners. Interactive videos address this by enabling students to think in a range of ways and at varying levels of complexity, which allows the student to shift from lower order thinking to higher order thinking.
Open-ended questions urge students to critically reflect and demonstrate their understanding through extended responses, which draws upon the students’ skills to reflect, apply wise judgement, and solve new problems.
