Preliminary Dance

In the Preliminary course 120 indicative hours students study Dance as an artform with core studies in the interrelated components of performance, composition and appreciation. The knowledge that students gain in Year 11 provides the fundamentals of Dance as an artform and is implicit in the content for Year 12.

Course breakdown: Core Performance (40%), Core Composition (30%) and Core Appreciation (30%).
