Hello Ladies and Gentlemen!

Thank you for stopping by my page! I am Mrs. Garrison. Since we can’t spend much time together in person to start out the year, I thought I’d write you this letter to tell you a little bit about myself. I’m from Dayton, and I attended DECA, graduating in 2009. I earned a bachelor’s in Mathematics from the Central State University. Afterwards I attended the University of Dayton and earned my master’s degree in Education. Go Flyers! I’ve been in the teaching field for about 6 years, and 3 are with the DECA schools. In fact, I’ve taught at two DECA schools at one time or another! I am happily married, and I have four outstanding children named Leah, London, Lauren, and Micah Jr. They range from the age of 9 to the age of 2. I’ll be sure to share pictures and tell funny stories about them during advisory this year. Family is really “big” for me! I love my family! Seriously. I also think of you as my family, so be ready to be loved! If I am not being a mother or teacher, I am doing locs with my sister at our hair shop. I enjoy dancing (yes, I can dance) and a good joke, and I like to laugh! I want us to be able to laugh together this year.I am ready to make great memories! We are going to be working hard, but we are going to make it fun when we can as well. I lean on your energy just as much as you lean on mine. We are going to dive right back into i-Ready this school year! Your 5th grade math teachers have done an awesome job getting you prepared! Now let’s continue to flourish throughout your sixth grade year. I am looking forward to flourishing together!
