Process for:
Top:
16x3x1
design on paper
move to fusion
create the Bahamian flag on the top
move everything else down .25"
move the outer bars down .15"
move the inner bar down .1"
keep the triangle at 1"
create the setup in fusion
create a 2D contour to cut out the entirety of the top piece
create a 2D pocket to mill out the Bahamian flag on top
find material (walnut wood)
find appropriate length
put painters tape on milling surface and bottom of wood
put glue on both
mill out the piece using the CNC machine
use the domino drill for the connection
sand using a sander and then just sand paper
use domino piece to connect to middle section
glue onto the middle section
clamp together
use a finish for a clean look
drill holes in the top for the eyelets
screw the eyelets in
Middle section:
10x2x1
find walnut wood with dimensions of at least 10x2x1
use the table saw and the cutting saw for exact length and width
use the planer to trim the wood down to exact height
use domino drill on both sides for connections
put domino piece into holes
connect to top and bottom
glue together
clamp together
use finish for a clean look
drill a hole for the hooks
screw the hooks into the drilled holes
Base:
12x6x1
find wood with dimensions of at least 12x6x1
use cutting saw to create exact dimensions
use domino drill to create the connection
use the domino piece to connect to the middle section
glue to the middle section
glue the scoring base onto the side of the base
clamp together
put on a finish for a clean look
Scoring base:
12x3x.75
design in fusion 360
create the setup
create 2D pocket for the scoring section
find walnut wood with correct dimensions
use cutting saw to create the 12" length
sand down
glue to the base
clamp together
use finish for a clean look
Scoring piece:
1.5" diameter 2" height
design in fusion 360
create the 2D contour to cut out of the stock
use a drill saw to cut off the tabs
use the table top machine to clean off the tabs
use belt sander to create smaller diameter
use finish for a cleaner look
DONE!
