Inspiration

The inspiration for this project came from my trip to Jackson Hole ski resort and the incredible areal tram they have.

cut file

I used Adobe illustrator to create my cut file using the pen tool, shape tool and text tool

sticker design

I imported a photo from my phone and used a clipping mask to create the sticker design

Cutting & Engraving

I cut and engraved my piece using the epilog fusion pro. I learned how to focus and send jobs to the laser with the right settings

Printing the Sticker

I printed the sticker out on the Roland True-VIS and stuck it on the back of my keychain

Reflections

I think the thing that went well for me was designing the files in illustrator and sending them to the machines. One of the biggest challenges I had was forgetting to place my cut properly on the laser and partially cutting over material that had already been cut. I the future I plan to make sure everything is set up properly before approving the job.
