It was a great week to be a Sorgho Wildcat...
On Monday, our Student Lighthouse Team did a terrific job leading our Veteran's Day Assembly. It was a great way to honor these brave men and women. Be sure to check out the pictures from this special event below.Â
In addition, Sorgho students were selected to display their art for the Forest of Holiday Trees in the Owensboro of Fine Arts Museum. Art was created that reflects the topics and themes covered in Mr. Murphy's classes. Students created ornaments based on the young adult novel, Esperanza Rising by Pam Munoz Ryan and Mexican artist, Frida Kahlo. Way to lead the way Sorgho!
