We are learning so much in the Fundations curriculum. We are learning about tapping out letters and writing sentences! We are tapping out all the sounds we hear, including diagraphs and blends. Help your child with this important skill for reading by saying words and seeing how many sounds they can tell in the word.

We are now finishing up our Unit 4: Trees. We have learned different types of trees and their attributes. We have learned how trees can help us and how we can help trees by recycling paper. We are in the middle of our kindergarten service project, where we have asked all the classes to collect their extra scrap paper and we will take it to the recycling center to make new paper that we can use to learn even more!   

We're working in our last math module, which is taking all the concepts we've learned and making even bigger numbers. Right now, we are taking groups of 10 and making teen numbers and even up to the 30s! We'll keep going even higher! Maybe we can even get to infinity! :)
