Great news...last night our Sorgho families donated almost $2,000 for our Dance Blue event sponsored by our first grade team. What a great service learning project for our students to learn about having a servant's heart and giving to others. This money will go directly to support research for childhood cancers. Not to mention, they seemed to have a great time playing games and dancing. Be sure to check out the pictures below of the fun they had. Thank you so much for those who donated.
I'd like to take this time to remind you of the importance of being at school. With the cold and flu season among us, I realize you may need to keep your child at home if they are feeling ill. Please do not forget to call the school to let them know.
Next week our 3rd-5th graders will be taking another scrimmage test to help prepare our teachers meet their needs for grade level standards. Please be sure to have your child present and on time for school. Thank you for your support.
