Message from Principal Pippin

It's hard to believe that we are already into Christmas Break. I hope that all our students have a terrific holiday enjoying their families. I know as a parent of two college sons (actually one just graduated) that time with your loved ones is precious. I hope that you may laugh and embrace this magical time. Wildcats be sure to rest up and play hard. We have a lot of leading and learning to do....I can't wait to see you back on January 3rd.

Counselor's Corner

The first semester of school we focused on the Leader in Me Habits 1, 2, and 3 which are the habits of private victory. These are the foundational habits of being in charge of self, learning to set goals, and putting the important things first in our lives. These are the soft skills that all employers are looking for when they hire. They are absolutely foundational for success in life. The second semester, we will focus on the habits that are important to public victories in life. These are the habits that help us to get along with others. In January we will focus on Habit 4: Think Win-Win. We will teach students about Emotional Bank Accounts where we learn ways to make emotional deposits to build up those around us. Students will also learn ways to find win-win solutions to help everyone feel valued. Please help us to reinforce these concepts as you teach your child how to think win-win at home.
