Over the course of the 2024-2025 academic year, the Matthews Center team advanced its focus on exposing students to a variety of companies and graduate/professional school programs through large-scale events and in smaller group settings. The team coordinated 87 employer events and connected students through on-campus information sessions, workshops, information tables, interviews and virtual sessions.

The Matthews Center welcomed 56 employers and graduate/professional school partners to campus in March 2025 to participate in its annual health career fair. Students from all classes had the opportunity to meet with employers to learn about different career paths, research, and internship/full-time opportunities. With over 195 students in attendance, the event was a large success.
In the Fall of 2022, the Matthews Center piloted a new format for consulting and finance employer engagement with students in the form of Employer Info Session Nights (EISN). These sessions were designed to allow students to engage with multiple employers over the course of a one hour block, and let employers meet with a wide range of interested students. This format continued for the third annual event in the 2024-2025 year during which 3 separate events were offered in Fall 2024 and engaged a total of 15 employers and 130+ students. A sampling of participating employers includes Wells Fargo, JPMorgan, Bain, FDIC, Grant Thornton, and KPMG.
