Event Description
The Special Ops mission is announced with the introductory video.
Students choose a code name to be identified by HQ and listed on the mission poster.
Use the top secret form to collect agent names and code names.

Mission Description
The goal of this mission is to play in tune (or maintain the green light/smiley face) on various exercises using the Tonal Energy App or any tuner.
Once students eliminate their target, they will use the “TERMINATED” stamp to mark the target complete.

Students must count and play the assigned rhythm charts to accomplish this mission.
Step 1: Write in the counting for the assigned exercise
Step 2: Count the assigned exercise
Step 3: Play the assigned exercise on a note of players choice.

Mission Description
Students will use the Note Namer Challenge on musictheory.net to extend music reading skills in extended ranges. The first target will focus on the upper range for each instrument, the second target will focus on the lower range for each instrument. Students must complete at least 25 questions at 90% accuracy to terminate the target.
Quarter 3

Mission Description
Students will perform at the district-wide Solo Festival and receive comments and scores from an outside judge on their solo performance. In preparation for the performance, students will complete four targets using their solo music.

Mission Description:
Students will perform two major scales and a basic chromatic scale, as indicated below. Students will be able to use a provided scale sheet with accompanying fingering chart.
Quarter 3 and 4

Students will demonstrate proficiency in identifying key signatures by using musictheory.net.
To terminate Target 1, students will need to answer 20 questions within a 2 minute time period at 90% accuracy. Target 2 will consist of constructing Key Signatures.

Event Description
Students will be assigned a final exam exercise in which to “execute” all of the skills they have learned throughout these missions. Students will need to terminate each of the following targets:
