My name is Abby Mussmann, and I am so proud to serve the Blue Devil community as the teacher librarian. I have had so many wonderful experiences with students, teachers, administration, parents, and the community as I learn how to define my role and promote our ever adapting and active virtual and physical library. I find myself growing professionally as our library grows.
I currently hold a Bachelor's Degree in English, a Master's Degree in Learning and Teaching with Technology, and a second Master's Degree in School Library Studies from the University of Northern Iowa. I served Central as a Language Arts teacher for fourteen years before accepting the teacher librarian position. I am dedicated to the pursuit of life-long learning and gaining a knowledge of multiple resources in order to give my best to the learners and educators of Central.
I married my amazing and supportive husband, Tim, in 2002. Together we are raising our daughter, Adaline, and our son, Wyatt. We live a life constantly on the go from one baseball/softball game, volleyball game, road race, or camping trip to the next. We are dedicated members of the Quad Cities community and are all very excited to be a part of its growth.
