Careerometer can be used to explore and compare key information about occupations, help you learn about different occupations and identify potential careers - data relating to pay, weekly hours of work and future employment prospects for different occupations, as well as description of the occupation.
Simply type in the title of the job you are interested in and the widget provides a series of options from which you can select the most relevant to you. You can then look up another two occupations and compare. You can also select ‘display the UK average’ and compare the information with the occupation you have selected.

We participate in the Eco Schools programme and have Green Flag status. Forest School and the Environment are so important from Juniors into Seniors.
In Juniors-
Classes held in the School’s outdoor classroom - “Woodland Way”- and in the recently installed yurt encourage children to explore and be adventurous. Both facilities are central to the School’s exciting Skogsmulle programme, a Swedish educational initiative which centres around a fantasy figure who informs children about nature through play and song. Yr 10 write their CV's in the summer term and in Year 11 autumn term they write their letters of application for Work Experience.
They apply for Work Experience in the autumn term of Yr 11 for the following year - last week of June is recommended after GCSEs.
We expect all students to attend a placement or two totalling 5 days in Year 10/11, and a further 5 days in the holidays of Year 12/13
