Dyslexia Awareness Week 2021: 1-8 October 2022
Also this year we are organizing the Week of Dyslexie together with Dyslexie Font! It is a week full of enthusiasm, inspiration and positivity where as a dyslexic you will discover what you are capable of because of, not despite your different way of thinking. As a (non-dyslexic) teacher, parent, family member and employer, the Week of Dyslexia also gives you more insight into the chances of dyslexia and you receive practical tools that go beyond protocols and reading software.

Dyslexia Awareness Week 2022: Breaking Through Barriers
In 2022, we will be celebrating Dyslexia Awareness Week with our theme of Breaking Through Barriers.
Dyslexia Awareness Week will take place between 03-09 October 2022. The theme this year will allow us to reflect on the barriers that those living with dyslexia often face, while also focusing on how individuals, organisations and the education system have continued to succeed and break through these obstacles.

Dyslexia Awareness Month 2022: Light it RED for Dyslexia
Ask any dyslexic about their school experience and they will tell you about the gut wrenching fear of receiving back their school work covered in red crosses and comments. When Light it Red started in 2015, it was about taking back the power of that colour to raise awareness. The colour influenced our name Code Read (pronounced RED) Dyslexia Network. Red is disruptive and cannot be ignored but it also highlights the urgency of the situation. In effect, we wanted to say that it is time to stop sweeping this important issue under the carpet and take action. #LIR2021
