I'll be running in the Arctic Circle in October to help those with Dyslexia.
Almost 1 in 5 people have Dyslexia. It's is a learning disability that affects the way a person thinks and learns language. It is a problem with learning that mostly affects the skills needed to quickly and correctly read and spell words.
Problems with phonological awareness, verbal memory, and processing speed are signs of dyslexia. There may be problems with language, motor coordination, mental math, concentration, and personal organization all at the same time.
All the money will go to the Dyslexia Association of Singapore to help with their mission of "Helping People with Dyslexia and Other Specific Learning Differences Achieve."
