BLUE SKY

BID AMOUNT: $1,380

The birds symbolise freedom and eternity due to their ability and freedom to soar into the skies. I choose birds because every day when you look up there are always birds around and I think they are the most beautiful creatures.

My favourite colour is pink. So a tree that has pink is a sakura tree and this tree has many meanings to it. It symbolises human life, love, beauty and the passing of time. (25cm x 25cm)

follow the sun

STARTING BID: $388

BID INCREMENT: $100

CURRENT BIDDER: Joyce Goh

BID AMOUNT: $1,200

This painting was about a sunset outside Singapore and I was thinking of what it is like to see a sunset outside Singapore. Does it look different or the colours of the sky? I paint this by thinking and imagining of how it looks like. The sunset means to end a day of life, so when the sun rises it begins with a new start. The awesome beauty of the setting sun is also symbolic of the beauty and mystery of life itself. I think sunset comes with many different shades of colours and to paint with many colours I think is beautiful and fun to do. (84cm x 55cm)
