Why is my IPad acting strange?

-Sometime you need to cut the iPad off and then back on or you can do a hard shut down by holding the home and power buttons down at the same time until the tablet cuts off and then on again. This usually solves a lot of problems.

-Are you connected to a WiFi service?

-Have you Updated your Ipad recently?

All of these things are quick checks that you can do before you contact IT.

What do I do if I missed my Zoom check in that day?

  • You need to email the teacher ASAP and let her/him know that you are doing the work that day and will have it turned in soon. You will not be marked present if you do not make contact before 3pm, make the Zoom meeting, or fail to complete your assignment.

Where can I see my grades?

-Your initial grades will be in Schoology. I will give you time to read my feedback and make corrections. If you fail to make corrections, the original grade will be moved over to PowerSchool. If you make the corrections, you will received an improved grade in PowerSchool.

How do I use Schoology?

-There are HOW TO videos in the first folder of your ELA class that will explain how to use the apps and services needed to complete 7th grade ELA successfully. Keep in mind that 7th grade ELA teachers work as a team, so occasionally you may hear or see one of the other ELA teachers on our lesson. Don't worry we are just dividing the work so there is less for each of us!
