Lunch

Students who are scheduled in classes during the third timeslot will eat in their classrooms

The lunch wave will be 25 minutes with 5 minutes for cleaning

Ordered lunchs will be delivered to the classroom

Students may remove masks during the lunch break and are asked to replace their mask once they have finished eating

Students must maintain social distancing and leave desks in rows during the lunch break

Students who have the third timeslot free will be able to eat socially distanced in the cafeteria or at outside tables (weather permitting)

Seniors who have the entire third timeslot free and who have parental permission to participate in Open Campus will be allowed to leave during the lunch period

Students can view menus or place orders using the Nutrislice app or darienps.nutrislice.com (select Darien High School)

Orders must be placed by 7:30 AM each day and can be made up to a week in advance

Select your classroom number if you are scheduled in a class

Select cafeteria pick up if you have a free period

Students who forget to pre-order a lunch will be able to purchase one cold option from the delivery cart or the cafeteria if they are in a free period

Payments will be made using K12 Payment Center, as in previous years; Chartwells will charge student accounts after orders are made in Nutrislice app; no cash transactions will be accepted
