Students at Ox Ridge School have access to many online resources. Most sites require a username and password that students have been given at school. Please contact

Epic Books  A wonderful collection of online books, videos for all different ages PreK-5.  If you use Mrs. Tabaka's class code, you can use Epic Books for free until 4:30pm.  Try it now by following these directions!  Ms. Constantine's Class code is xbk3373.

Did you know that Destiny has a new feature called Destiny Discover? It has the look of Netflix, but it is for finding books in our library rather than movies!

Destiny is Ox Ridge's OPAC (Online Patron Access Catalog). Students can search for books by reading level, author, genre, and subject. They can also read some electronic books!

Scholastic BookFlix is a literacy resource that pairs classic video storybooks from Weston Woods with related nonfiction eBooks from Scholastic. Enjoy books the connection of fact and fiction. Some titles available are Scrambled States of America; Click, Clack, Moo; Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, Diary of a Worm.   

BrainPop, Jr. is a great resource for grades 1 - 3 with topics related to Science, Social Studies, English, Math, Arts & Music, Health, and Technology. Each topic has an animated movie with Moby to explain key concepts. There are games, quizzes, conceptual mapping and other activities for students.

Students in 3-5 grade should login with G-Suite (Google). 

PebbleGo is the award winning PreK-3 database for reading and research. The PebbleGo databases make learning and improving reading and research skills fun, building on children’s interest. PebbleGo offers four databases: PebbleGo Animals and PebbleGo Science, PebbleGo Biographies and PebbleGo Social Studies.

PebbleGo Next is a database for reading and research geared toward students in grades 3 - 6 that supports reading and research skills. Tokeneke School subscribes to 4 of the PebbleGo Next databases: PebbleGo Next States, Native Americans, Science and Social Studies

Abdo Zoom: Similar PebbleGo. This is a brand new database for Pre-K - 2 learners. Leveled text, read along, videos, printable activities, interactive games. 

Scholastic TrueFlix is a nonfiction/informational text resource that makes the True Books Series from Scholastic interactive and fun to read. Topics focus on social studies and science including ancient civilizations, U.S. regions, U.S. Government, disasters, ecosystems, human body, solar system and many more.

FreedomFlix, offers students the chance to read eBooks related to important events in world and American history. The print versions of the books are part of the Cornerstones of Freedom series. All the eBooks feature videos, audio, images, and text. 

World Book Online is an online encyclopedia. Choose between Kids, Student, Timelines and Spanish Version. 

Scholastic Go (formerly Go Grolier) gives students access to 2 online encyclopedias as well as an animal database and a states database. The encyclopedia appropriate for most elementary readers it The New Book of Knowledge. The animal database is called Amazing Animals of the World and the states database is America the Beautiful.

PowerKnowledge Science Databases are online resources specifically designed for learners in grades 3 to 6. You have access to Life Science, Physical Science and Earth and Space Science topics. There are videos, articles, pictures and games

Noodle Tools is a resource students in 4th and 5th grade will use to create a bibliography. Ox Ridge students use the MLA format and select MLA starter when creating a list of citations. Teachers can create a Seesaw account for free. Students can respond to a teacher's assignments and teachers can provide feedback.  Students can also work creatively on their own to create his/her own work using creative tools like pens, highlighters, shapes, photos, and voice recordings to show what they know!  Students can log in through Clever.
