About the Danville Bands
The Danville Local School District is located in the village of Danville, OH, about 60 miles North-East of Columbus. The Danville Band Department serves many students ranging from grades 5-12 by providing high-quality music education and instilling life-long memories and skills into each member since 1931. The Blue Devil Band performs at all Danville football games, in the community, and travels the state and country to show off our exciting performance style. The marching band, concert band and jazz band perform throughout the year and are committed to developing the musical and personal skills of each of the students.
Our Mission
The Danville Band Program believes that music education is for everybody and we strive to use music as a tool to create opportunities for each student to experience musicianship, community, leadership development, and discipline. Our high standard for excellence creates a contagious energy that members of the band and audience members can participate in! This is an opportunity for all students to become a part of an organization that values each individual and will work to develop their strengths and weaknesses to positively impact the lives of others.
