Line Manager: Assistant Headteacher & SENco Assistant
Working pattern: 27.5 hours per week 5 days 9:00am - 3:00pm (30 minute unpaid lunch) Term Time + INSET days
Salary Grade: H3.5 £25,583
Pay Range: H3.5 + £1045 Fringe allowance (paid pro-rota)
Actual Salary including fringe allowance: £16,928.43
Start Date: ASAP
Fixed Term contract until July 2026 (in the first instance)
Pastoral Learning Support Practitioner
Are you passionate about supporting young people to thrive both academically and personally? We are seeking a dedicated Pastoral Learning Support Practitioner to join our school team and make a real difference to the lives of our pupils.
The Role
As a Pastoral Learning Support Practitioner, you will:
Provide tailored support to pupils, helping them overcome barriers to learning, including Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA).
Promote positive wellbeing, resilience and behaviour.
Work closely with teaching staff, families and external agencies to ensure every child receives the care and guidance they need.
Support the school in safeguarding, attendance, and pastoral systems.
Work in and outside of the classroom with key children.
