Requesting an interpreter is submitted through AESOP through the building principal/secretary.
LANGUAGE Link Interpretation Information attached. The service should only be used for unexpected/emergency calls. If your staff is planning on doing several calls that will need interpretations, say in an hour time, please submit a request through Frontline/AESOP for an interpreter. Using our in-house interpreters is more cost efficient.
Requests for translations (written) must be requested using this completed form, or alternatively sent via e-mail using the proper form to describe the job, to Jennifer Wolke, wolkej@danbury.k12.ct.us, at least one week in advance for routine material. E-mail with attachments in original format (no pdfs) is necessary in order to facilitate the exchange of materials between the requesting school, Curriculum Resource Center, and the translator.
Emergency requests for translations will be considered on a case by case basis, depending upon the availability of a translator.

Requests must be received via fax, e-mail, courier, or this electronic form at least three days in advance. NOTES: Requests for special school events such as “Open House” or “PTO Meetings” must be received at least 2 weeks in advance. Should equipment be inoperable or become damaged while borrowed, a damage report form must be completed. We aim to keep all equipment clean and well functioning for all in the district to use.
