The resources in this section are organized by cluster. A Career Cluster is a grouping of occupations and broad industries based on commonalities. Expectations at the Career Cluster level represent the skills and knowledge, both academic and technical, that all students within the Career Cluster should achieve regardless of their pathway.

The Workforce Investment Boards in the State of Connecticut focus on career sectors that are areas of demand for the industries they serve. Primary focus for most Boards is Advanced Manufacturing, Health Careers and for some, Technical Careers. In order to provide information for all career sectors, this resource provides activities and information in the 16 Career Clusters and 79 Career Pathways associated within them.
