HELLO! Welcome to Art with Mrs. Eberly!!!
I am one of two Art Teachers here at DAIS. I teach all of the students in Blue, 4th Grade Red, and the IS class in Red. Mrs. Bell teaches the students in the yellow wing and remaining students of the red wing. This is my 21st year as an art teacher. I worked my first three years traveling between Dallastown and Leaders Heights Elementary. My fourth and fifth years I traveled to Ore Valley one day a week as well. I have been at DAIS since it opened. I graduated from Penn State University in 2004 with a degree in Art Education in a minor in Art History. I love photography, craft projects, Penn State (Especially football games and Creamery Ice Cream), traveling (OCMD, Bar Harbor, Acadia, Ocracoke Island, Hilton Head Island, Disney World, etc...), and hanging out with my family and relaxing. I live in York with my husband and our two sons. Sadly, our Silver Lab named Libby passed away so we do not have any pets at the moments.
My goals in art class are for all students to create art, learn problem-solving skills, and experience new and different ways of learning. Students will be expected to follow all rules and directions, be respectful of myself, others, and the art materials, and to always try to create their best artwork.
Happy Creating!
