SPECIAL KUDOS AND ACCOLADES TO OUR RAIDER NATION NAF-IT PRACTICUM PROGRAM
The 2021-2022 school year brought about a swift change in our technology department. The NAF-IT Practicum class was infused into the technology services of Raider Nation, without a blueprint in sight. We were challenged to develop a curriculum to fit our needs and goals.
We focused on developing two businesses to utilize an ongoing work environment for our on-campus scholars, whose academic schedules could not afford them time for off-campus employment.
The students came up with a messenger service, "Raiders Rapid Messenger Services" and the "S.W.A.T. (Students Working to Advance Technology) Team".
Raiders Rapid Messenger Services -
Office/Teacher Assistance - Campus Wide
Software Services
Copier Services
Password Reset Assistance
Desktop Publishing Tasks
S.W.A.T. Team - Students Working to Advance Technology -
Equipment Removal
Desktop Setup Assistance
Laptop Setup Assistance
Inventory Management Assistant
Copier Services
Hardware Services
The IT Practicum Scholars created, developed, and marketed the concepts expressed during a powerful brainstorming planning meeting. We forged the ideas, concepts, duties, and responsibilities to create a conducive environment of servitude mixed with the unforgettable Raider Nation hospitality.
We will continue our pursuit of becoming productive and caring citizens who are enabled to enhance all working environments through technology. It is our determination to exercise a spirit of team building in the global society in which we live.

While supplies last, we have monitors that can be utilized as a second display to assist in the daily multi-tasking duties. First come first served.
Instructions: How to make it work
Set up dual monitors on Windows 10
Select Start > Settings > System > Display. Your PC should automatically detect your monitors and show your desktop. ...
In the Multiple displays section, select an option from the list to determine how your desktop will display across your screens.
Once you've selected what you see on your displays, select Keep changes.

**Set up may require an additional inexpensive adapter, not included or furnished.
Please remember to turn off your Promethean/Trutouch TVs once you have finished with them. Just like a tv in your home, these TVs are designed to operate for a set number of hours before services or replacement is required. To help extend your classroom tv's lifespan, please turn them off. I have witnessed TVs left on overnight and over weekends. Please comply with this request. Replacements will be hard to come by. You have been notified. Thanks!!
