Onesimo Hernandez Montessori Academy
Cristina Callau Gomariz currently serves as a Lower Elementary Guide at Montessori Academy Onesimo Hernandez. She is the lead teacher for Lower Elementary. She began her teaching career in 2009 as an Elementary teacher in Spain. Five years later, she participated in the international teaching exchange program Profesores Visitantes en EEUU y Canada and moved to Dallas, Texas, in 2014. She was a 1st-grade bilingual lead teacher for 5 years in a traditional school, and after five more years, in 2019, she had the opportunity to begin at a brand-new Montessori school, MAOH. She completed her AMI 6-12 certification at the Montessori Institute of North Texas.
She currently serves as a mentor teacher to new teachers in the district on her campus. She is an exemplary Montessori classroom teacher and has opened her classroom to receive visits from district teachers who need support in their classroom management, routines, and instruction. She always starts her morning with yoga with her students. She runs the ballet club at her school and enjoys dancing with her students. This school year, she is also participating in the Home2Home program, conducting home visits.
Outside of the classroom, Cristina is a ballet student at Contemporary Ballet Dallas, and she enjoys playing the piano and singing
Prestonwood Montessori at E.D. Walker
Sydnie Lundy currently serves as a Lower Elementary Guide at Prestonwood Montessori at E.D. Walker Middle School. After graduating from Auburn University with a degree in Early Childhood Education, Sydnie moved to Austin, Texas, where she taught first and second grade for three years. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Sydnie served as a Virtual Phonics Coach for teachers across the state of Texas, helping them navigate digital learning to provide high quality Phonics instruction. Through this position, she developed a love for coaching other educators.
In 2021, Sydnie moved to Dallas ISD and became a member of the founding staff at Prestonwood Montessori. She completed her AMS Elementary I and Elementary II certification at Shelton Montessori Training Center. In addition to her role as a Lower Elementary Guide, Sydnie serves as Amplify Lead, Hiring Team Lead, and PTO Parent Teacher Liaison. She also works on parent education and community outreach through her work for the Communications Committee and newsletter writing. Outside of the classroom, Sydnie coaches pilates and is working on earning a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Arizona State University.
Eduardo Mata Montessori
Chastity Manske serves as a Lower Elementary Guide at Mata Montessori. She earned her bachelor's degree in Education, EC-6th, ESL from the University of North Texas at Dallas and completed her Shelton Montessori Training, obtaining AMS credentials for the Lower Elementary classroom.
With a dedicated service of six years at Mata, Chastity has fulfilled various roles such as CILT, SBDM, Grade Level Lead, Destination Imagination Manager, and Campus Mentor Lead. Her contributions extend beyond the school setting, as she has presented at the National Magnet Schools of America conference and various Dallas ISD professional development sessions.
Beyond her professional commitments, Chastity travels the Yucatán Peninsula and Florida, where she pursues her passion for cave diving.
George Bannerman Dealey Montessori Academy
Pamela Moschioni currently serves as a Lower Elementary Guide at George Bannerman Dealey Montessori and International Academy. Pamela started her teaching career for Dallas ISD as a substitute teacher while finishing her Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Education at UT at Arlington. Her first teaching assignment was at Edna Rowe Elementary School 27 years ago.
Two years into Pamela’s teaching career an opportunity arose to be interviewed by the Dallas ISD Montessori teachers from Harry Stone and George Bannerman Dealey. She was accepted into the training program that was headed by the Dallas ISD Montessori teachers. At the completion of her training she passed the MACTE (Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education) certification for lower elementary.
In 2000, Pamela began her Montessori journey at George Bannerman Dealey Montessori and International Academy as a lower elementary guide. Currently, Pamela serves her students with high expectations and rigor. She has been her to say: “A day doesn’t go by that I don’t learn something new from my students. They are my teachers!”
Eduardo Mata Montessori
Nicole O’Dell currently serves as a Lower Elementary Guide at Eduardo Mata Montessori. She is in her 11th year with Dallas ISD at a Montessori Campus. Throughout her time with Dallas ISD, she has taken on various roles, including LPAC Chair and team lead. She has presented at the Montessori Summit and at the National Magnet Schools of America conference in Dallas.
She completed her AMS Lower Elementary certification at the Dallas Montessori Teacher Training Program and she completed the AMS Elementary Reading Certification program. She has her Masters in Education from SMU.
Prestonwood Montessori at E.D. Walker
Lizette Rincon has been a Dual Language Lower Elementary guide at Prestonwood Montessori since its inaugural year and is also the Dual Language Lower Elementary team lead. With over 20 years of experience in education, spanning Costa Rica and Texas, her Montessori journey began in Costa Rica. There, she trained under Dr. Meadows from the Pan American Montessori Society and completed her 2.5-6.5 certification in Spanish. Lizette now holds an AMI primary certification from the Montessori Institute of North Texas and is currently working on her AMI 6-12 certification.
Eduardo Mata Montessori
Jonna Stout is a twelve-year veteran teacher at Eduardo Mata Montessori. She began her teaching career at Mata after a long career in marketing and advertising at Southwest Airlines and several years in the political arena as a district director for a Texas State representative. Jonna holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations from the University of Texas at Austin and a Masters in Education from the University of Texas at Arlington. After her first year of teaching traditional 5th grade ELAR she wass offered the opportunity to open the first public choice Montessori in DISD and train to become a lower elementary Guide.
The experience as a lower elementary guide at Mata Montessori has given Jonna a deep and profound respect for the profession of education. She has taken on many roles at Mata but her greatest joy is sharing her knowledge with other educators and other Montessori campuses. She will continue to spread the knowledge as well as bring new and exciting practices back to her campus.
Outside of her work at Mata, Jonna loves to travel the world, spending most of her summer away from Texas. She has two daughters, a bonus daughter, a partner of eleven years and a dog and cat.
