  • Complete an application, background check request, and orientation (e-signature required).

  • Await volunteer clearance email notification.

  • Once cleared, sign up for volunteer opportunities!

  • Await volunteer clearance email notification. (This can take up to 72 hours.)

  • Once cleared, sign up for volunteer opportunities!

• Helpful VOLY Tips:

  • Make sure your birthdate is entered correctly.

  • Be sure to e-sign your application.

  • Volunteers must be cleared via background check annually. It can take up to 3 days before a background check is completed. Check your Spam inbox for your clearance email if it’s been longer than 72 hours.
