Campus Priorities
At Highland Meadows our 3 Main Priorities are student achievement, student and staff attendance and sustaining a positive climate and culture. We believe that all of our students can achieve at the same level as their peers or above, and we know that it is our job to help them get where they need to be academically. We know that good student attendance is essential to empowering and equipping students to be the best that they can and it is necessary for staff to model good attendance practices for our scholars. Finally, we know that it is equally essential to provide a safe welcoming environment for our students, staff and all stakeholders that fosters learning and growing at all times.

Highland Meadows Elementary School opened in 2004 to provide overcrowding relief to Martha Turner Reilly Elementary School.
Our school has a reputation for academic excellence because all staff members instill in the students our motto “Where Expectations are High!”
HMES is also known for having quality staff with positive and caring attitudes toward all students. Our staff is highly trained and provides instructional strategies to accommodate all types of learners.
We strive to meet the individual needs of each student. Our goal is to maintain a safe learning community and empower students with the knowledge and skills to become productive and responsible citizens.
