Coaches & Enrichment Teachers

Mrs. Lyons

Campus Instructional Coach (Math)

My goal is to support teachers and help build their instructional capacity. I engage with and embrace all students and aid them in reaching academic success.

Mrs. Jones

Campus Instructional Coach (Reading)

I am a proud graduate and product of The Business & Management Center of Dallas ISD.

It is an honor and privilege to be an educator & instructional leader within our world! I am also an alumni of Southern Methodist University and Texas A & M University and it has been fulfilling to have partnered with several agencies of change that have afforded me the opportunity to serve in my current role as Reading Campus Instructional Coach at the prominent Daniel Webster Elementary School.

Overall, I thrive with a passion for LITERACY, LIFE & LEADERSHIP and my purpose driven goal is to empower others by cultivating a mindset of resilience and grit for personal growth, academic excellence, social well-being and life long success through the channel of literacy.

Ms. Mitchell (Talented & Gifted)

My goal is to teach students that the sky is not the limit. You are only limited by your imagination and your will to go beyond what is expected of you. I want them to be bold enough to believe they can do anything. Success is measured by how many times you don’t give up. I am passionate about exposing my students to experiences that will not only peak their interest but drive them to go beyond their dreams.

I have been an educator for 30 years and I have loved every moment. In that 30 years I have taught first grade, second grade, and GT. For years I was a trainer for DISD and curriculum writer but my heart has always been to teach children. I cannot imagine leaving the classroom. It is awesome to have a career you love!

Mr. Davis (Enrichment Specialist)

I entered the field of education for one reason.. actually about 20-25 reasons! Each year, my students are the driving force that pushes me to continue to become a better teacher. My goal is to provide each student with an effective education that is relevant to his or her life. By teaching with the my students' interests in mind, I am able to find ways to make learning FUN. FlUrNing is what we call it in my room!

I have been teaching for 5 years, with this being my first at Daniel Webster. I am originally from Decatur, IL. I moved to Missouri to attend college at the University of Missouri before moving to Houston to earn my Master's Degree in Educational Technology. I currently live in Dallas and enjoy working with your children each and every day!
