Howdy, y'all! My name is Ms. Brown and I am so excited to be spending this school year with your student. I am the 7th Grade Advanced Texas Studies Teacher, 7th Grade Chair, Asian Pop Culture Club Co-Sponsor, UIL Social Studies/Maps, Graphs, and Charts Coach, Staff Head of House for Nukumori, SBDM Vice Chair, and House Committee Chair here at Longfellow Career Exploration Academy. 

Born in Ft. Worth and raised in Arlington/Mansfield, I am a native of the DFW area. I graduated from Texas A&M University (WHOOP!) in 2010 with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies and received my M.Ed Curriculum and Instruction - Literacy at the University of Texas at Arlington in May 2023. Texas History and social studies are my passions. In 2011, I became a Daughter of the Republic of Texas, working with my grandpa on our family genealogy. 

I currently live in Dallas, TX, and enjoy listening to K-pop and EDM (TWICE is my ult group!), watching soccer (FC Dallas and FC Bayern Munich), and eating Whataburger. I also work on soccer supporters/fans rights and advocacy.
