Goal #2: To graduate highly qualified and marketable physician assistants who will secure employment as vital members of the healthcare team.
Outcome Measure: 95% of program graduates will secure employment as a PA or be enrolled in a post-graduate training program within 9 months of graduation.
Rationale: The program’s graduates will become active members of the healthcare workforce where they can use their knowledge and skills to provide competent, compassionate, patient-centered care to all patients.
Goal #3: To be a PA program that prepares graduates with all the tools required for clinical practice while providing a supportive, encouraging, professional environment where all individuals can reach their full potential.
Outcome Measure: Upon completion of the Daemen PA program, rates of graduates who would recommend the Daemen PA program will exceed the department’s benchmark of 3.4 on a 5-point Likert scale with 1= strongly disagree and 5= strongly agree on a 5-year average.
