Meet your Speakers and presenters

Josh ingle

Interim Superintendent Dade County Schools

jessica Reed

Jessica Reed is a special education teacher in Georgia, who has been teaching for 12 years. Jessica’s undergraduate degree is in Elementary Education from the University of Kentucky. She has a Masters of Arts in Collaborative Teaching (6-12) from the University of Alabama. She received her ED.S. in Instructional Technology from Kennesaw State University. Jessica is a certified Google for Education Trainer and a Google Innovator (#NYC19). Jessica is married to Robby and they have one daughter, Elizabeth (3). Jessica is an avid UKY alumni who loves to present at conferences and make connections with teachers from all over the world to discuss how collaboration can be effective in the classroom.

Stephanie Durham

Stephanie Durham is the Media Specialist at Dade Middle School. She has been teaching in Dade County for 21 years, all of which at Dade Middle School. Stephanie has a Bachelor's degree in Prek-8 Education, a Master's degree in Administration, a second Master's in Library Media, and an ED.S. in Library Media.
Over the years, Stephanie has developed a passion for technology in the classroom. She is an advocate for finding the perfect mix of technology and traditional teaching in the classroom. Too much of anything is not a good thing. Stephanie is a Google Level 1 and 2 Certified Educator, Google Trainer, and currently working on becoming a Google Coach. She also holds many other certifications

Beverly adkins

Mrs. Adkins is a veteran teacher, working in 1:1 classroom environments for 8 years. She holds multiple technology certifications and integrates technology regularly into classroom instruction. Currently teaching science and social studies, she is a Public Education Foundation STEM Fellow and enjoys working with students interested in Lego Robotics.


Jennifer clark

Jennifer Clark is the Healthcare Science teacher at Dade County High School. Over the past five years of teaching she has learned that having good lesson plans make her job easier! Receiving training through PLC's and other colleagues encouraged her to want to share some of her secrets at creating easy and successful LFS lesson plans! Bring your laptop and have the tab to your subject standards open and we will have fun making lesson plans!!!


Brent cooper

Mr. Cooper is currently Assistant Principal at DCHS as well as Athletic Director. He has served his time in education in several roles including teaching middle school math, geography, and American history. He has also served as coach in the areas of baseball, softball, basketball and football. He and his wife, along with 2 sons have called Trenton their home since 2012. He is an SEC football fan. Roll Tide! Go Wolverines! Mr. Cooper has become fluent in using Canva to communicate with faculty, staff, and other stakeholders.

Gabrielle Haston





Gabrielle Haston has taught middle and high school chorus for the past 15 years in Dade County. While Chorus is not what you typically think of as "tech-based," Mrs. Haston has found educational technology to be the best way to stay sane. Teachers are already working as hard as they ever have so any way to "work smarter, not harder" is what we need! :) These sessions [Connecting Infinite Campus and Google Classroom//Social Media for the 21st Century Teacher] are designed to give you the tools to schedule communication to best reach all stakeholders, as well as streamline the grading process instead of taking home piles to grade each weekend.


Anna Thomas





Middle School special education math teacher Anna Thomas will be presenting an overview of Pear Deck. She is an EdS Candidate in the Instructional Technology program at Kennesaw State University. She has a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction with technology from Grand Canyon University, and a B.S. in Secondary Education Mathematics from Jacksonville State University. Anna has just finished her 16th year in the classroom and advocates using technology to support and improve the great teaching and learning that is already happening. Technology applications can not replace a good teacher.


Dr. Catherine turner

Dr. Catherine Turner arrived at teaching later than most after careers in industry in product development, internet/telephony sales and management. She taught ten years in CTAE architecture and engineering design and several years in STEAM, broadcasting and Lego Robotics, both middle and high school levels. She chaired the state committee to rewrite standards in engineering design as well as on multiple CTAE committees in the engineering/technology fields. She landed in science where she has taught environmental science, physical science and forensics science. Her classroom has contained virtual components ranging from edmodo to Kahoots to her current offerings in Nearpod. A former Google certified teacher, Dr. Turner has 18 years of experience of using technology in her classroom in several ways such as direct and student-paced instruction, formative and summative assessment, remediation and differentiation.

nikki wright

Nikki Wright is married with a bonus son and two puppers. She has a Master of Arts in Teaching and recently completed the gifted endorsement gauntlet. She taught English, Theatre, Public Speaking, and Debate in Mississippi for ten years, and she just completed her fourth year at Dade Middle School. Usually, she's an 8th grade English teacher, but this year, she was immersed in technology as the sole virtual teacher for the school.
