Last year at our tech-ed camp, I was introduced to Canva and it has been a life saver for me as an educator. As an Athletic Director and Assistant Principal at DCHS, I get the most bang for my buck using Canva on social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. Personally, I'm not an Instagram user but I can be talked into it. I also publish graphics on dadecountyathletics.org such as my monthly athletics newsletter. I've only been using Canva for about nine months, so I consider myself just barely out of the Beginner stage. The purpose of this presentation is to give you a Canva tutorial for beginners. There are so many functions on this platform that I have not used, so dig deeper if you desire. I am hoping Canva will allow you to promote your website or blog, help you create the next great Graphic Organizer for your class, or send home a monthly newsletter to your students' parents. You'll soon find out that the options are endless using Canva!
