Member Registration with National NHS
All members are encouraged to create an account with the National Honor Society at www.nhs.us. Doing so allows you to:
Earn a digital NHS badge for LinkedIn, resumes, and college/job applications
Access exclusive NHS scholarships and programs
Stay connected with national-level opportunities
To register, you will need the following:
Full name
Personal email (not school email, so it remains accessible after graduation)
Chapter name: Community High School, 326 Joliet Street, West Chicago, IL
OR use Affiliation Code: 00016731
Select “SCHOOL” as the address type (do not select “Home”)
School role: NHS student
Phone number (yours or the school’s)
Accept the Terms & Conditions and set a password (6+ characters)
Once submitted, your chapter advisor will verify your membership. Until verified, your account will be inactive and you won’t have access to the NHS scholarship portal, digital badging, or the student store.
