What is NHS?

National honor society was founded in 1921 to bring together students and encourage scholarship, leadership, good character, and community service. NHS chapters are found in all 50 states as well as several other countries, with over 10,000 chapters existing across the globe.

What does NHS do?

NHS is a club committed to serving our school and our community. NHS runs charity events and fundraisers and organizes volunteer trips for members. Additionally, all members complete 20+ hours of community service per year. Over the 22-23 school year, a collective 3,021 service hours were earned.

How can I join?

Eligible incoming juniors with a weighted GPA of 4.5 or higher will be notified by mail in July and given an application. Applications must be completed and submitted by August 25th. The selection committee will review all applications, and new members will be notified and inducted. Check out our "Information for Applicants" tab for more info.
