Today we are going to take Focused Notes using a T-chart.
Then we will write Thank You Notes to Teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week!
For homework, please review your notes and write a summary.
Wednesday, May 5th- What is AVID?
EQ: How can I answer the question: What is AVID?
In groups, we are going to brainstorm what AVID is.
Then, we are going to make a poster explaining what AVID is.
Thursday, May 6th - Thank a Teacher/Capstone
EQ: How can I meaningfully wrap up my freshman year?
We will write Thank You Notes to Teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week!
Then, we will work on our Capstones.

We are going to complete our 2nd TRF.

Today we are going to conduct Tutorials.
We will break into a few groups and help each other with their points of confusion.
Wednesday, May 12th- Capstone

In groups, we are going to devise a 30-second elevator speech on what AVID is.
Then, we are going to work on our Capstone projects.
The goal is to be finished with two of the components by the end of the week.
Thursday, May 13th - SMART Goal Check-In

We are going to revisit our SMART Goals.
We will check in to see how we are doing.

Then, we are going to pick some colleges to tour virtually.

Then, we are going to fill out a learning log about the colleges we visited.
