The Assessment is chunked into 4 parts. Assessments contain fill in the blank, multiple choice and check the box. All four assessments combined into cumulative score. Students must have a 60% or higher to pass Illinois State Constitution Assessment. The assessments are categorized as follows:
Assessment 1 - This assessment tests students on the content leading up to the constitution such as previous constitutions, the need for one, and preamble.
Assessment 2- Article I & II - The Bill of Rights and Powers of the State
Assessment 3 - Article III, IV & V -, Elections, Legislative Branch and Executive Branch
Assessment 4 - Article VI, VII, VIII, IX - Judicial Branch, Local Government, Finance, and Education
