ECE-2 will utilize daily choice boards provided in paper packets for their daily learning engagements. Choice boards will include a mix of paper, experiential, and digital learning opportunities to account for all learners. Experiential and paper activity learning will be documented through a variety of different products which will be kept in an accordion folder and returned when school resumes.
3-8 will use Google Classroom for their daily learning engagements.
Email will be used to communicate administrative updates and information to staff, families, and community.
Email, Hangouts, and Meet will be used for communications between staff.
Email or other established communication tool (ie: Remind, etc. ) will be used to communicate with parents.
Email or other established communication tool (ie: Remind, etc. ) or Google Classroom will be used to communicate with 3-8 grade students.

ECE-2: Classroom and specials teachers will collaborate on the creation of grade level choice boards. Students will choose three (3) different lessons from the grade level choice board each day. Students will then complete the lessons' assignments using the remaining e-learning day time.
3-5: Classroom teachers will deliver three (3) lessons daily or a one (1) long term project-based learning activity broken down into manageable steps each day. Specials teachers will create two lessons for each grade level per week which will be shared with teachers who may include the lessons in their daily lesson schedule. Students will then complete the lessons' assignments using the remaining e-learning day time.
6-8: Content area teachers will create and assign one (1) lesson daily or one (1) long term project weekly. Specials teachers will create and assign minimally one (1) extended lesson for each grade level per week. Students will then complete the lessons' assignments using the remaining e-learning day time.
ECE-2: Students will complete a paper exit ticket at the end of each school day. Paper exit tickets will be returned to their teacher when school resumes. Full-day attendance will be granted upon the completion of 3 choice board activities daily, 1/2 day upon the completion of 1 activity, otherwise the student will be considered absent for the day. ECE-2nd attendance will be entered into into a Google Sheet by the teacher and entered into PowerSchool by the secretary upon the return to school.
3-5: Students will complete an electronic exit ticket at the end of each school day by 8:00 pm, teachers will monitor student participation daily, and log student attendance on a Google sheet the following day based on completion of required activities. You will share the Google sheet with your school's secretary who will input the attendance into PowerSchool. Full-day attendance will be granted upon the completion of 3 lesson activities, 1/2 day upon the completion of 1 activity, otherwise the student will be considered absent.
6-8: Students will complete an electronic exit ticket at the end of each daily lesson by 8:00 pm, teachers will monitor student participation daily, and log student attendance on a Google sheet the following day based on completion of required activities. You will share the Google sheet with your school's secretary who will input the attendance into PowerSchool. Full-day attendance will be granted upon the completion of 4 lesson activities, 1/2 upon the completion of 2 activities, otherwise the student will be considered absent.
Formative feedback will be given on lesson activities when possible.
Assignments will be graded the same as usual.
Lessons should capitalize on the home environment and include 'old school activities' in order to balance screen time with activity.
Teachers are encouraged to create and share a video a day that students can look forward to. This may be a “Good morning!” video or an instructional video.
Teachers are encouraged to use Google Meet to connect with kids in real-time.
Teachers will email parents a general update at least once a week.
Teachers will monitor the morale of their class and the workload of the students carefully and report any concerns to their principal.

Coaches will be available throughout this process to support teachers in their planning and preparation of lessons, creating content, communication with students and families, and monitoring student activity.
