Ever wanted to pick up on a new hobby? Do you find repetitive activities stress-relieving? Do you wanna find the key to coolness? Then crocheting might be the thing just for you. Lucky for you, Grants Pass High School now has crochet lessons in the library! Lessons will by taught by a GPHS student who's an expert at crocheting. These lessons will provide a beginner level perspective to learning how to crochet. The lessons will be focused solely around teaching simple techniques that should be fairly easy for amateurs to pick up on. The library will be providing all the necessary crocheting supplies needed for these lessons, so there's no need to bring your own. You can even keep the stuff you make! Which will no doubt make a nice little gift for anyone you wish to give it to.
Every Tuesday during I.T. in the GPHS library! Everyone is welcome to come a try it out.
According to Wikipedia
Crochet is a process of creating textiles by using a crochet hook to interlock loops of yarn, thread, or strands of other materials together.
Then you're wrong. I don't know if you know this, but being able to crochet is like THE coolest thing ever. The coolness of crochet even breaks past the social-construct of having the opinion of something being lame. It's possibly the most radical skill out there. Without knowing how to crochet, what are you gonna do at parties to impress everyone? A cart-wheel? Socializing? Other stuff you do at parties? Lame. True party-animals know the key to impressing any crowd is just straight-up crocheting in the middle of the party. It's a great conversation starter, and everyone is guaranteed to think you're super cool and mysterious. This is 100% a fact you don't even have to look it up, because I'm right. The data is 100% coolness and 0% lame, checkmate.
