4 Extend: Student exceeds grade level expectations

3 Proficient: Student meets grade level expectations

2 Developing: Students understands some, but not all of the grade level concepts

1 Emerging: Student is just beginning to understand grade level concepts

*My goal as a teacher using standards-based assessment is for all students to reach a Level 3.

The district is in the midst of transitioning to Standards Based grading. As a result, I will be using both methods of grading throughout the year.
